LOGO TUTORIAL: part 1 | part 2 | part 3

Tutorial: the PSPClass2 logo - part 3
12. Bleached quadrant #3

Create a new layer and name it 'black'.
Select quadrant #3 (see 6.), activate layer 'black'  and flood fill selection with black (solid color, match mode None, tolerance 0, opacity 100, sample merged UNchecked). You can right click in the selection, because your background color is black.
Select none.
In the layers palette: slide the opactity of the 'black' layer to 50. If you're not able to set it at 50 exact, press the left or right arrow on your keyboard.

13. - Colored quadrant #2

Add a new layer called 'color'.
Select quadrant #2 (see 6.), activate layer 'color'  and flood fill selection with a purple-ish color (solid color, match mode None, tolerance 0, opacity 100, sample merged UNchecked).
I used #B9A5D1 (R185, G165, B209).
Select none.
In the layers palette: set the layer blend mode to 'color'.

14. - Add third txt-line

Make the foreground color white. Add a final layer, name it 'txt'.
With the txt-tool add type: I used Copperplate Gothic, Bold, size 36 and antialias and floating checked.
Move txt into place and select none.

The logo is finished!
